1937-1941 Large Hanger Saddlebags, Harley-Davidson or Indian

Description

These early motorcycle saddlebags were offered from 1937 -1941 for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and Indian Motorcycles. For these bags to be 100% correct the Harley Davidson Logo or Indian Logo on the lid is hand-stamped, not machine-stamped. The ears are riveted on. The bag is sewn inside out and then turned instead of being sewn outside. A smaller leather scuff plate is on the back. Typically available in natural dyed leather, or black leather. They can be mounted to a luggage rack with “ears,” or can be made with a leather, or polished stainless steel mounting plate (5-hole, or 4-hole).
