Harley-Davidson Deluxe Solo Seat, offered from 1947 to 1954, Original H-D #: 3181-47; New H-D #: 52006-47.

3-Piece Deluxe skirt, with 3/8″ nickel spotting around the bottom of the skirt and no fringe.
Made with black cowhide and sewn with black stitching. Deluxe solos come with thick 1.5″ foam.

This seat features a smooth black cowhide seat cover available in both raw-edge (open-seam) or rolled-edge on a vented seat pan, with black stitching. The 3-piece skirt features 3/8” nickel spots along the bottom of the skirt, nickel “raspberry” spots and two-color stacked rosettes topped with a flat or finishing washer. The skirt is joined by either two rivets, or three rivets depending on the year.

Yellow over Green with pointed rosettes and flat washers 1947, 1950, 1951, 1952.
Yellow over Orange with pointed rosettes and flat washers 1948, 1949.
Red over White with rounder rosettes and finishing washers 1953, 1954.

Recommended to be paired with the 1947 – 1952 Loc-Tite Saddlebags, or the 1948-49, and 1950-1953 “Spoon” Saddlebags.
