1939-1940 and 1946 Luxury Buddy Seat, Harley-Davidson
This buddy seat has a similar type skirt to the Deluxe Solo seats of the same year.
As offered by the H-D factory, this buddy seat had a two-piece skirt laced together at the back center. It was offered from 1939 & 1940, and could be ordered as a special item in 1946.
The seat and skirt are covered in your choice of rhino grain embossed cowhide, or alligator grain embossed cowhide (availability varies on embossed leather). The skirt is 2 pieces – no third center piece of leather on the rear. The seat has a white rosette behind a tin concho with a white tassel underneath on each side skirt. The seat had no more than 1” foam. Natural belting is to be dyed the same color as the seat.
